What's going on?
So occasionally this site is hit by a random attack and that once again happened.
The issues we had are listed below:
- The web pages that usualy inhabit it have been rich with dynamic content including PHP elements.
- The web server's LINUX distribution was updated
- A lot of LINUX distribs revert some configuration files to "default states" and ask for confirmation
- Unfortuately one of the "default states" affects the "php.ini" file disabling alot of safeguards
So to protect this server from any future attempts, for now, all dynamic content has been disabled.
We will revisit this when time permits and see if we can get the tools that folks had come to use back in service.
Thanks for being patient.
